Volunteering in Ghana is a norm. In Alavanyo Agome 150 villagers volunteered their time and labour to help make a community toilet. In Tafi Atome all the village volunteered along with volunteers from Ghana, France, Italy and the UK to build their community toilet.
We would be delighted if you would like to volunteer for Community Action Ghana.
At the moment, as you can imagine, we are only looking for volunteers who can work at a distance but there are still opportunities.
Volunteering opportunities from home include:
- Communications and PR
- Website design and SEO
- Social Media
- Fundraising
- Legal Advice
- Photography
- Providing pro-bono support to help run the charity
Volunteering opportunities in Ghana include:
- Building toilets to prevent disease and provide dignity
- Building libraries to support education for everyone in the community
- Training teachers on librarian skills to support education for everyone in the community
- Teaching women a trade and business skills to help them earn money for their family
- Teaching to help educate students or teachers
- Photography and communications of our projects
- Providing pro-bono support to help run the charity
