Alavanyo Agome Community Toilet Block

The next project we are embarking on is a toilet block for the Agome community. Currently the situation leaves a lot to be desired and Locust Foundation has been asked by the Chiefs and Elders if a new toilet block could be provided with the support of Community Action Ghana. We are currently gathering funds to build a new one. Please donate.

Watch this short video to hear from the community themselves about how a new toilet facility would improve their living situation. They are speaking in the local language, Ewe, with voice over in English. You’ll hear from one of the Chiefs of the village the Head woman of the village (called the Queen mother) and three villagers.

Follow the progress of the build on our blog with regular updates from Ghana.
